I'll try VLC. I was previewing because I've converted a burned a few PD flicks and had sync problems in the final product.

Thsnks for the tip.

You are more than welcome, however from the the earlier posting
I thought you said you were having trouble watching the programs. VLC media player is just a player and not software to burn DVD.

Sorry, I wasn't making myself clear.

I meant that in the past I have converted d/l'd files to DVD files (without previewing first)and burned them. After burning, I discovered sync problems and the like. THIS time, they seemed out of sync in the "preview phase," and I presumed that there was a problem with the files, instead of with my player.

I will get VLC, and my "in-house tech support" (son) also suggested getting the CCCP codec pack.

That sounds like a good idea. I mentioned the VLC media player because I too had problems (which were resolved by Scott Saunders, thank you Scott) of the same nature you had with Cap't America and Zorro's black Whip. I hope everything works out. DVDs can get expensive.
